We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer specializing in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development, systems architecture, and ALM tools and methodologies. As an Engineer for ALM, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our ALM processes to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement ALM solutions that support the entire software, electronics and mechanical development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business analysts, to define and refine ALM processes and best practices.
Evaluate and select appropriate ALM tools and technologies to meet the needs of the organization.
Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on ALM-related topics.
Ensure ALM solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Monitor and analyze ALM metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in ALM and software development methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
3 to 5 years of Work-Related Experience
Proven experience as an Engineer, with a focus on ALM.
Understanding of Software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
Proficiency in ALM tools such as PTC Codebeamer, PTC RV&S, IBM ELM Jazz or similar.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
