JMT's Highways group is looking for a dynamic individual to be responsible for preparing plans from the provided engineering sketches and details for projects. Seeking individuals who are creative and capable of problem solving, open collaboration and who provide unique solutions. Potential team members should possess a strong sense of urgency and be capable of prioritizing tasks, preparing plans from the provided engineering sketches and details for projects, meeting deadlines and coordinating with fellow team members. This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Transfer engineering sketches and details to plans utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation Make basic engineering computations and prepare & revise specifications Make quality control corrections to contract drawings Prepare exhibits for reports, public meetings or presentations Ability to work in a team environment with others on urban & rural projects Strong sense of time management and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to manage concurrent projects
