Our client, a leading fabrication company specializing in crafting high-quality, custom components from carbon steel, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Streetsboro, Ohio

Pay Range: $100,000 - $145,000

What's the Job?

Ensure production methods, tools, and support documents (e.g., prints, DXFs, models) are accurate, complete, and maintained. Lead engineering team and drive continuous improvement in workflows, quality, and efficiency. Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells to optimize space, equipment, materials, and personnel. Develop and improve plant layouts for better facility and operational efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering efforts with company goals and to prevent product and tooling/fixture issues.

What's Needed?

BS in Engineering or equivalent experience with continuous training. 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience, including management. Expertise in ASME Y14.5, SolidWorks, and tool design/modification. Proven experience with metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, press brake, machining, welding). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and utilize data for decision-making.
