What you will own:

Directly manages 1-n teams (squads) of engineers where each team is focused on delivering value to a functional area of the business.

Responsible for at least one large scale initiative that requires multiple engineering teams to coordinate together to deliver the project.

Responsible for executing security-related functions and tasks associated with Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, Privacy, Oversight of critical service providers.

Manage time and resources effectively by clearing bottlenecks for teams that report directly to the manager.

Log at least 40% of available time with coding, prototyping, TAD work, etc

What you'll need to be successful:

Proven ability to mentor senior developers

Strong skills in component and data store architecture

Strong ability in unit and component testing

Ability to ascertain, verbalize, and push for data-driven ROI needs, projects, and roadmaps

Experience with at least one object-oriented backend language

Experience with relational databases and ability to write performant SQL queries

Ability to work in an iterative, agile process

History of leading high-impact projects

Strong technical front end and architectural lead capability

Strong ability to understand and write efficient queries - firm understanding of and experience working with large sets of data and all of the considerations that come with it
