Job Description
The Engineering Technician will successfully execute and manage all internal and external instrument calibration work. This role involves creating, maintaining, and executing calibration procedures for various instrumentation and equipment, conducting routine calibration for laboratory equipment, and collaborating with management to expand internal calibration capabilities. The technician will also be responsible for record-keeping, organization, and spreadsheets, as well as troubleshooting electrical circuits and signals.
ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage all internal and external instrument calibration work.Create, maintain, and execute calibration procedures for various instrumentation and equipment.Perform routine calibration for laboratory equipment.Collaborate with management to expand internal calibration capabilities.Maintain accurate record-keeping and organization, utilizing spreadsheets.Troubleshoot electrical circuits and signals.Essential SkillsProficiency in calibration, metrology, and electrical instrumentation.Experience with quality management systems and instrumentation calibration.Skilled in using gages, CMM, and conducting quality inspection and testing.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates Degree in a Technical Field.5+ years experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.US citizenship or US Permanent Resident status is required.Work Environment
The work environment includes a main office that is a laboratory setting. The role also requires spending time on-site at manufacturing facilities. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing engineering consulting company working with numerous clients and industries across the state of Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.25/hr.
