Overview Parts Specialist Pay Range: $44,000 - $55,000 Annually Summary: This position will require a candidate to research, source, and place orders for parts/supplies while ensuring timely deliveries to fleet repair facilities. Additionally, the candidate will assist in proper data entry for fleet maintenance records. Job Details and Qualifications: Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills Ability to occasionally travel (up to 30%) and perform physical tasks in both office and shop environments Mechanical Understanding: Must possess a strong working knowledge of truck and heavy equipment systems, including familiarity with parts manuals for Kenworth, Cat, Cummins, and similar brands. Procurement & Inventory: Source and order parts with cost efficiency in mind; compare prices, manage inventory levels through manual counts, and approve invoices. Data Management: Accurately input and maintain fleet maintenance records using software systems (TMT experience is a plus). Collaboration: Work closely with mechanics, parts vendors, and other team members while upholding professionalism and company values. Problem-Solving: Confidently make purchase decisions, troubleshoot supply issues, and ensure critical parts are available when needed.
