Environmental Engineer

In this role, you’ll help ensure our operations follow environmental regulations—and look for ways to go beyond compliance. You’ll work across our sites, develop plans, test materials, and collaborate with teams to create safe, responsible solutions. What You’ll Do: Prepare and submit permit applications to federal, state, and local agencies. Identify and address environmental risks to air, soil, and stormwater. Develop and distribute pollution prevention plans. Review how materials are handled and prepare hazard reports. Collect and analyze stormwater and soil samples. Communicate with government agencies about environmental requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to implement policies that support safe and productive operations. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred). What Experience You’ll Need: 1–5 years of experience in environmental compliance or engineering. Experience with air and stormwater permitting processes. Familiarity with calculating air emissions using standard tools (e.g., AP-42, FIREdata). Understanding of stormwater detention, retention, and treatment systems. Knowledge of reporting requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
