We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating one-page plans from developers and providing budgetary estimates. This role involves moving into the design phase and preparing a full set of drawings. The Estimator will work closely with electrical engineering firms, procurement teams, and civil contractors to ensure the successful transition of projects into the construction phase. Additionally, collaboration with project management teams is essential to develop solar projects effectively.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate one-page plans from developers and provide budgetary estimates.Prepare and develop full sets of drawings for projects.Collaborate with electrical engineering firms, procurement teams, and civil contractors.Ensure projects transition smoothly from pre-construction to the construction phase.Work with project management teams to develop solar projects.Participate in bidding processes and use estimation software effectively.Manage preconstruction activities for solar construction projects.Essential SkillsExperience in construction management, particularly with solar projects.Proficiency in estimation and bidding processes.Knowledge of preconstruction and cost estimation.Experience with estimating software.Ability to design and handle project engineering tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree.At least 1 year of experience in a related field.Experience managing solar construction projects in pre-construction.Familiarity with RFI and change order processes.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
