Position OverviewC&S Wholesale Grocers/Hawaiian Housewares desires to create the country's safest, efficient, and service-forward fleet. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through product and service deliveries while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and per the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Job Description

1st shift, Monday-Friday - some weekends

Starting Pay: $33 per hour

Description

Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver productDriver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per dayDriver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirementsInspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirementsAll other duties as assignedTravel Required:Yes
