In this role you will be responsible to develop diagnostic data solutions that will be integrated into the volvo group aftermarket diagnostic tools and systems.

You will be responsible to develop diagnostic method templates framework, data and logic (fault tracing procedure) for a given vehicle/powertrain (incl.e-mobility) function. In this role you will,

·         Develop diagnostic data solutions (fault tracing, test sequences, wiring diagrams)

·         Support new and updated functionalities in diagnostic data and systems

·         Create a proof of concepts for future diagnostic solutions.

·         Identify and enhance the need for new sequences and current diagnostic data

·         Contribute to developing new data structures for future diagnostics

·         Ensure Data quality and readiness before release.

·         Be responsible to identify the new special tools and update the existing special tools

·         Contribute towards FMEA and DFAMs in the early phase of the product development

·         Review the Diagnostics SW to approve from aftermarket technology to develop or modify Diagnostics data solutions

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).

·         5 to 8  years of experience in automotive vehicle diagnostics.

·         Knowledge of vehicle network protocols such as CAN, J1939, LIN, and Ethernet, as well as EE systems.

·         Proficiency with tools like CANalyzer/CANoe and other diagnostic tools.

·         Experience in OTX data exchange platform

·         knowledge in functional and non-functional SW with diagnostics 

·         Experience in remote diagnostics is added advantage

·         Programming knowledge is added advantage Python, Java script, HTML and CSS
