Summary:
Fabricators create or prepare parts and raw material for other work areas by operating machines such as a cut-off saws, shears, rollers, drill presses, planers, and punching equipment and hand tools such as grinders, bevel mills, sanders and drills.  

Essential Responsibilities:

At all times ensures safety is the top priority while performing any part of your job Understand and follow verbal and written instructions provided by Production Supervisor Read and comprehend basic blueprints Safely operate hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.) Able to obtain needed information from print repository and MRP programs Obtain and maintain fork lift certification Independent operator of at least 2 fabrication machines (excluding lasers and press brakes)  Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using blue prints and tape measures.
