Facilities Coordinator

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Job Description: The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing and organizing shipment documentation, coordinating with internal teams for shipping and receiving activities, and supporting logistics operations to address shipment delays. This role requires familiarity with receiving processes, staging procedures, and proficiency in data entry and document management.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and process shipment paperwork from drivers.Ensure shipping documentation and labeling meet required standards.Coordinate with internal teams regarding incoming and outgoing goods.Assist logistics personnel in resolving shipment delays as needed.Maintain knowledge of receiving systems and procedures.Enter data into various systems and databases.Organize and file shipping and plant-related paperwork.Track trailer inventories and update shared tracking files.Generate outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels.Prepare shipping papers for rejected materials.Input lab data into tracking systems.Monitor drum and bulk operations using internal tools.Scan storage areas and manage tracking device data.Perform general clerical duties including filing and typing.Support administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.Manage office supplies and maintain a clean work area.Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

1–2 years of experience in office administration or a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to manage vendor interactions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Familiarity with transportation of hazardous or dangerous goods.

Work Environment:

On-site position with a standard weekday schedule.Accessible by public transit; personal transportation recommended.Positive and safety-focused work environment.Opportunities for professional development and training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
