As the Facility Lead at Jacobs, your role is critical to keep our offices running and allowing our teams to focus on delivering. As part of our Real Estate Operations, you’ll join our collaborative team to provide day-to-day management of facility services and activities within an office.
We are looking for a passionate Facilities Professional in Calgary AB who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You will ensure this office is provided with equipment, supplies, and services necessary for daily operations. You'll manage office overhead budget and monitor the financial reports to ensure accuracy; provide input to annual business planning as it relates to the local office; ensure all required Real Estate Operations Finance and reporting reviews are completed; process invoices related to local facility management and ensure proper coding according to REO expenditure and capitalization guidelines; serve as the onsite contact for building management and local service providers as appropriate, and provide support for HR where requested. You’ll lead a small team of local Real Estate/Facilities professionals, providing guidance and mentoring to help them advance their knowledge and contributions to Jacobs. Your partnership with local office leadership is essential as you and your team provide facility support in a variety of areas including property management and maintenance, janitorial services, office planning, kitchen/café stocking, branding, shipping, fleet vehicles, reception, and scheduling.

* At least 7 years of relevant Facilities, Real Estate and/or Property Management related experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Experience with procurement, finance, and/or accounting
* Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work on-site in Calgary AB
Ideally, you’ll also have:
* Experience in a role that requires successful conflict resolution
* Ability to forge and maintain relationships with all levels of leadership and staff
Additional requirement:
Responsibilities may require physical activity, including some or all of the following activities: Bending, stooping, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and/or ladders, sitting for long period of time, and typing.
