This position will be focused on trading loans with banks, credit unions and other loan investors.  Successful applicant will have prior experience with valuing, marketing and trading pools of loans.  This is a salaried position with participation in the Capital Assets incentive pay pool.

Responsibilities:

Work with FHN loan and fixed income sales reps to develop potential loan relationships Research potential buyers and seller for different loan product types FHN client contact to originate transactions and identify buyers and sellers Coordinate trading activity with sales, data, pricing, advisory and operations as needed Maintain prospect and transaction activity Provide support for pricing and pipeline activities for flow loan programs Maintain relationships with loan accounts as needed Interact with other traders to prioritize opportunities and transactions Enhancement of marketing materials

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience with secondary loan marketing and trading College diploma required Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to maintain flexibility and good attitude for various tasks both in the office and outside FHN Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to travel occasion for client pitches. Travel should be minimal with vast majority of work being in the office Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Experience working with external clients as well as third party vendors Experience working with a commission-based sales force
