Element (formerly Crawford Scientific) is seeking a Field Business Development Manager covering Scotland & Northern Ireland, working remotely. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Development Managers, a Technical Specialist, and a Regional Sales Manager. 

 

As the UK’s leading supplier of chromatography products, training, and technical services, Element prioritizes customer satisfaction, offering fast delivery, excellent after-sales support, and expert technical assistance across 100,000+ products.

 

 

 

Responsibilities Managing and growing existing accountsExpanding product offerings within current customer portfoliosAcquiring new customers to drive business growthEnsure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements related to Quality, Health, and SafetyBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive sales.Communicate with customers via phone and email; conduct weekly field visits and attend exhibitionsIdentify and research potential new customersClose sales independently and support sales generated by other team membersPrepare clear and professional emails, sales proposals, and quotationsCollaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams to enhance sales effortsProvide weekly reports on sales activities, forecasts, customer feedback, and industry trends

 

Skills / Qualifications BSc degree in Chromatography or related field, or experience in a chromatography lab or marketField sales experience or a strong aptitude for a sales role
