Field Service Engineer

Description

The position will primarily involve routine and emergency service, advanced troubleshooting, Installation of machinery, and training of customers as well as some machine assembly work

•\tSupporting a branch of business in PA and WI

•\tStrong Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting aptitude

•\tAbility to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers

•\tStrong decision making skills

•\tA proven history of strong mechanical experience

•\tAbility to complete service and expense reports and manage administrative tasks

•\tHave the initiative and drive to grow within the company

•\tCapable of contributing new ideas, designs and methods

•\tAbility to read electrical and pneumatic schematics or willingness to learn

•\tPLC, machine control, and ladder logic experience

•\tCommunication savvy -computer, phone, and internet

•\tMS Suite: outlook, excel and word

•\tAble to perform analysis and employ advanced troubleshooting technique,s including redesign of machine components and programming changes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVES

- 3- 5 yrs of Electro- Mechanical Troubleshooting on Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Servo motor Equipment (i.e Food & Beverage, Packaging, Automotive)

- Experience troubleshooting PLC.

- Customer interfacing experience

Nice to Have

- Assoc or BS in Engineering

- 3 years of Field Service work

- Experience working wit refrigerated processes and equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr.
