Provides financial analysis and support of a Center of Excellence within the US Healthcare Solutions. Develop strategic plans, monthly forecasts and the annual budget. Performs monthly analysis of financial results and analyzes key financial indicators that provide both financial and business insight to senior management. Monitors and reports on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity. Provides guidance to financial information systems group in terms of monthly financial submissions, maintenance of financial database, reporting structure and system infrastructure. Participates in various ad-hoc requests within the business and the broader finance function. Interacts with senior management on various financial analyses.

Essential Functions

 Provide ongoing P&L management and operating expense controlling through monthly cost analysisPartner with Business leaders to Identify both top and bottom-line risks and opportunities within the businessAssist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budgetConduct detailed variance analysesCoordinate tasks related to the administration of the financial accounting system Process transactions related to the accounting systems and controls Maintain general ledger; prepare monthly journal entries and compile all source documentation related to financial reportingBe familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policiesEnsure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent auditsBalance Sheet reconciliationsPrepare monthly / quarterly financial presentations for senior leadershipDevelop and maintain financial models for forecasts and planPerform ad-hoc analyses and projects upon request

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance required with a minimum of (3-5) years’ experience in accounting, financial and/or analytical experienceChartered Accountant preferred, but not requiredMust be IT literate with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages and databasesExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focusKnowledge of General Ledger accounting and technical accounting skillsExposure to a monthly close process, budgeting & forecasting requirements of a publicly traded companyFinancial systems experience including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (SAP, Hyperion- Essbase, SalesForce)Ability to identify financial issues and recommend mitigating actionsStrong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirementsExperience with complex financial modelingAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business situationsExperience partnering with commercial & operational business leadersAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, and Sales
