Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join a growing and stable team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for optimizing processes. The successful candidate will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and workforce management, while handling large datasets to support key business decisions. Responsibilities: • Develop detailed financial reports and provide insightful commentary to support decision-making. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning. • Analyze staffing models and workforce management data to identify opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with leadership to streamline processes and implement efficiency enhancements. • Handle and analyze large datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance for business needs. • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manage complex financial models. • Support resource allocation processes by managing extensive data related to services and divisions. • Leverage Power BI to create data visualizations, if applicable, to aid in decision-making. • Act as a dependable partner to leadership, taking on tasks to free up their focus for strategic priorities. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or FP& A; Big 4 audit experience is also considered. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently and improve existing processes. • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced shortcuts and efficiency techniques (macros not required). • Familiarity with Power BI is a plus but not mandatory. • Experience working with large datasets and deriving actionable insights. • Background in budgeting, forecasting, and workforce management is highly desirable. • Industry experience in insurance is a significant advantage, though not required. • A proactive and self-starting attitude with the ability to take direction and deliver results.
