Job Description
Develop the next generation of embedded applications for the Fire Detection business. Analyze, design, program, debug, modify, test, and implement software used in Fire Alarm Systems. Design, prototype, and develop high-quality software. Actively participate in all aspects of software development activity, including the development of new features and functionality using existing legacy code.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, program, debug, modify, test, and implement embedded software in C.Actively participate in the development of new features and functionality using existing legacy code.Interact with microcontrollers and manipulate registers through bit shifting and masking.Collaborate with stakeholders in different departments, organizations, and locations around the world.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in C programming.3+ years of experience with Embedded Systems.Experience troubleshooting legacy code and using shifting/masking.Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Availability to be present in the office at least 3 days a week, or more if required.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual: French / English.Experience with Gtest (Google Test) and the Fake Function Framework (fff).1+ year of experience with Linux.Work Environment
The position requires working 3 days per week at the facility in Brossard. The office is located in a booming location with easy access to the Quartier DIX30 and the Réseau Express Métropolitain hub. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
