Vacancy Overview FOPS – Electrical Leader – Paris (SQY), France

Key responsibilities and main tasks:

•            HSE & Electrical
o            Adopt & demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to HSEQ rules & requirements, Company Ethics & “Code of Conduct” policy.
o            Ensures that conformity and certification of facilities is ensured.
o            Validate strategy and optimization of maintenance plans.
o            Follows Safety Critical Elements maintenance implementation.
•            Electrical maintenance
o            Ensure implementation of operation and maintenance strategy based on FO objectives.
o            Approve the maintenance philosophy and strategy (spare parts, maintenance plans, outsourcing), monitor their implementation and advise on their effectiveness.
?            Shall point the observed problems in the design out and propose alternative solutions
?            Review equipment obsolescence
?            Manage quality, quantity, consumption of spare parts to ensure their availability
o            Ensure maintenance engineering meets availability, maintainability and operating costs. Ensure the use of CMIMS onshore and on Sites to provide an accurate maintenance management system.
o            Manage technical expertise provided to sites in various maintenance disciplines to solve maintenance issues.
o            Develop periodic reporting activities of the Discipline and follow them
o            Review and comment on Engineering documents related to Maintenance discipline.
o            Participate when requested to gap analysis between CTRs design and Company Specifications in liaison with TEC
o            Contribute to the definition of the Commissioning strategy.
o            Review Operational Test Procedures
o            Optimise OPEX
o            Evaluate CTR personnel.
o            Act as technical discipline focal point on specific project/work scopes and contracts : ensure interfaces with Client Entities when required & liaise with specialists Discipline Headquarters (TEC, OPS)
•            The job holder acts as FOPS electrical authority of B20 Asset.
•            The job holder will be the SECE guardian for all items falling under his discipline
•            On Behalf of FOPS, participate to all electrical commissioning and start up activities and ensure proper transfer of electrical systems to operation.
•            The job holder is responsible for supervising MIEC activities and ensuring FPSO design meets project specification and ensure targeted operating efficiency can be met during LoF as far as electrical design is concerned.
•            Review and approve requests for Hull, Mooring, Process, Utilities and Subsea packages technical proposals regarding Electrical activities for:
o            FPSO contract
o            Subsea contracts
o            O&M contract
•            For Electrical discipline / equipment’s:
o            Ensure reliability, availability, maintainability of production sites within efficient costs. Analyse failure modes, review maintenance plans and associated stock levels … in accordance with PAS study
o            Control for Operational and Capital Spares & Specific Tools management
o            Ensure fitness for purpose and integrity of all facilities (i.e. SECE with associated performance standard and MRT, …), according to The client and international standards and government regulations.
o            Ensure all necessary data are available for maintenance and operation. Participate in the commissioning of the monitoring systems, perform the Baseline and collect the Technical Records


The experience shall include:

•            BAC +2 minimum, Degree in Electrical subject preferred
•            Fluency in written and spoken English mandatory
o            Minimum of 12 Years Experience in the Industry
o            Minimum of 10 Years in an Electrical role , Management of personnel an advantage
o            Experienced with High Voltage equipment and HV drives
•            Experience within a Multidisciplinary Project Environment preferred
