The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within a warehouse, distribution center, or job site. This role ensures the safe and efficient handling of materials, adherence to safety protocols, and accuracy in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or pallets.
Transport materials to assigned locations within the facility.
Perform routine checks and inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and documentation.
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must have a valid Driver’s license • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required • No experience required and on the job training provided
Preferred Qualifications:
• Similar work experience preferred
