**Description**
**Devereux Arizona’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program** serves children and adults with significant behavioral and emotional needs. Individuals are referred to Devereux via Arizona behavioral health networks, and several tribal entities. Therapeutic foster parents are extensively trained to address each individuals' intense needs and work with them toward their treatment goals.
Located in Phoenix, AZ, the **Foster Care Specialist** trains, licenses (initial and renewal), and monitors foster care homes in accordance with State licensure and Devereux requirements. The Foster Care Specialist conducts licensing inquiries related to reports of non-compliance with licensure regulations and assists in recruitment and retention activities. This position works in office and in-home settings, as well as throughout Devereux Arizona, its premises, and the community.
**Pay Range: $18 - $19.80 /hr.**
**Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm**

**Qualifications**
+ Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
+ HS Diploma or GED with one (1) year work experience in human services (foster care preferred) **OR** Bachelor’s Degree in related field with no minimum experience requirement
**OTHER:**
+ Must attend New Hire Orientation (paid) Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
+ Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
+ Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
+ Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
+ Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions ( **_OR_** eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). **Arizona Revised Statues Notice** (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions).
