Description We are looking for a skilled FP& A Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work onsite five days a week, contributing to strategic financial planning and analysis in the lodging and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making to support a portfolio of real estate assets.
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Conduct performance analysis across the lodging portfolio, utilizing key metrics such as RevPAR, occupancy rates, and financial margins.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate trends and provide actionable insights.
• Partner closely with property finance teams to drive business strategies and informed decision-making.
• Analyze monthly forecasts, long-range plans, and variance reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Generate detailed KPI reports to support strategic objectives and operational performance.
• Utilize advanced Excel and BI tools to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
• Collaborate on scenario planning and data modeling to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide revenue management analysis and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry benchmarks and standards for financial reporting. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in the lodging, hospitality, or real estate industry.
• Strong proficiency in hospitality-specific metrics such as RevPAR, occupancy rates, and industry benchmarks.
• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
• Proven experience in developing forecasting and budgeting models for hospitality or real estate portfolios.
• Familiarity with financial reporting dashboards and interpreting P& L, cash flow, and margin analyses.
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
