FW Product Testing Analyst 1

We are looking for a curious, active learner who is a strong communicator and has a passion for creating high-quality footwear that helps Athletes* perform at their best.

The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with Athletes*. Effective planning abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple projects are essential.

This role also involves analyzing data, identifying trends and opportunities, and presenting insights and feedback to a cross-functional team.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you’ll be assisting the team in Novo Hamburgo by shipping out samples, responsible for all aspects of the testing process, including planning, recruiting testers, conducting tests, analyzing data, writing reports, delivering presentations, and program management. You’ll specify the performance issues that need attention prior to the product going to production. You will be working with the following product types: Global Football, Core Performance, Converse, and Sportswear. A typical day is a combination of communicating with Athlete* testers,  attending meetings with your cross-functional partners, and managing prototype samples. You will be conducting testing in person with Athletes*. Because we interact where Athletes* live, work, and play, at times you will be working outside of traditional working hours.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work directly with the Manager based in Novo Hamburgo and you will be a part of a Global community of Footwear Product Testing Analysts. You’ll also work with Athletes* to gain a better understanding of their needs and to capture their feedback. You will partner frequently with cross-functional teammates in Development, Engineering and Factories and you will attend virtual meetings with your Nike WHQ (Beaverton, OR) teammates when able to.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum 1 additional years' relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.1-2  year experience in a professional working environment. Experience in the footwear, product testing, development, marketing, engineering, retail, athletic, or customer service industry is preferred.Understanding of footwear is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to create and maintain relationships organicallyExperience working with athletes, coaches, and equipment managers.Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with spreadsheet database and statistical analysis procedures.Must have at least intermediate English.Able to physically lift and carry items weighing 10 Kgs.Passion for sport is a plus.Proactive, Self-starter and results oriented.Ability to travel up to 50% per year, locally in Rio Grande do Sul as well as potential international travel.
