About the Role

A Payroll Administrator assists with the payroll process for the supported country in order to ensure timely and accurate service for our internal client. This includes overseeing all administrative activities related to payroll, processing payroll on a regular basis and managing benefits respecting legal guidelines and company policies.

What You Will Do

Enter payroll master data according to relevant legal standards and Harman internal policies (termination, new hire, taxation, vacation entitlement)Maintaining employee records in collaboration with the human resources departmentPerform sick leave entriesFollow up on missing clock in/clock out times based on information received from employeesFollow up on absence and attendance data based on information received from employeesEnter overtime dataDistribution of monthly tax declarations and Social Security declarations1st level employee support, Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters over the phone, during the onsite customer service hours, e-mails andPreparing employer certificates and earning statements upon the request of the employeesReview the accuracy of the master data entries based on a list of potential errors identified in the monthly payroll controls by the Payroll Specialist

What You Need to Be Successful

High school graduation1 year of relevant payroll experienceUser level knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially ExcelAny type of payroll system experienceIntermediate English and Fluent German language knowledgeShowing ability to work with confidential informationBeing able to work with priorities and deadlines

Bonus Points if You Have

SAP payroll system experienceWorkday system experienceBachelor’s degree in HR/Payroll fieldExperience with SSC environmentDemonstrating an understanding of payroll taxesEmployee Customer Service experience
