Key Responsibilities:
Cartography & Exhibit Production:o Produce high-quality maps and graphics for reports, presentations, and public outreach
o Create visually engaging and accurate cartographic products tailored to project needs
Database Management:o Develop, maintain, and update spatial and non-spatial databases
o Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various platforms
Spatial Analysis:o Conduct spatial data analysis to support planning, engineering, and environmental projects
o Interpret and present analysis results to project stakeholders
Online GIS Solutions Development:o Design and configure web-based GIS solutions using ArcGIS Online
o Create dashboards, story maps, and web apps to share project data with clients and the public
Desktop GIS (ArcGIS Pro) Operations:o Perform day-to-day GIS tasks in ArcGIS Pro
o Edit, manage, and analyze geospatial datasets to support ongoing projects
Field Data Collection:o Conduct GPS-based data collection using ArcGIS Field Maps and other mobile GIS tools
o Integrate field data with office-based GIS systems for seamless project support
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Cartography, GIS, Planning, or related field0 to 5 years’ experience working in the ESRI ArcGIS environmentDemonstrated experience in ArcGIS Pro for map production and database managementExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and other similar softwareIs a team player possessing strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, planning, time-management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated – able to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing prioritiesFlexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays (Valid US Driver’s License is required)Has the legal right to work in the U.S
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience with most ArcGIS Online components including ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey 123, StoryMaps, Experience Builder, SolutionsExperience in administering and configuring ArcGIS OnlineExperience in developing ArcGIS online applications (web app builder, Experience builder)Familiarity with CAD software programs such as Autodesk Civil 3DKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Arcade
