Job Description

Job Summary:

Join a globally recognized Tier 1 automotive supplier shaping the future of mobility. As a Global Category Buyer, you will lead strategic procurement for mechanical components, playing a key role in driving cost competitiveness, supplier development, and localization initiatives.

Based in Thailand, you will be part of a high-performing global team, aligning purchasing strategies and delivering impactful results. Your core responsibilities include identifying and developing reliable suppliers, negotiating annual pricing and favorable terms, and building strong, long-term business partnerships.

Qualifications

Education:

Degree in Engineering / Business / Economics / Supply Chain Management

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing (Preferably automotive)

Skills required:

Excellent communication and negotiation skillPurchasing / Procurement ProcessesAutomotive manufacturing knowledge is an advantageGood knowledge of MS Office and SAPGeneral experience in software toolsGood team player with strong presentation skillsGood problem solving skills

Communication:

High proficiency in EnglishMandarin / German / Regional 2nd Language would be an advantage

Challenge:

Travelling within ASEANIndependent working capability is required
