Global Supply Manager - Direct

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Global Supply Manager who will lead construction, Indirect and direct materials sourcing. The Global Supply Manager will be responsible for managing all company business with a group of suppliers and will act as the key interface between Engineering, Facilities, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure delivery of world-class products and projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect and direct procurement in industrial or automotive sector, with handson experience managing supplier development, tooling, and commercial negotiations. This position will be located at Lucidís manufacturing site in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

Lead procurement for Lucid's construction plans across Saudi Arabia.  Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify qualified suppliers and support technical alignment. Prepare RFPs, evaluate quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead time, and technical compliance. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and manage commercial aspects of supplier relationships, including change orders. Manage supplier timelines and performance for construction packages and infrastructure equipment. Support budgeting and cost control for capital and operational expenditures.  Act as single point of contact for assigned suppliers across both construction and direct materials categories. Manage supplier development and tooling timelines. Support part readiness and availability for builds. Resolve issues identified during part development. Negotiate engineering change notice impacts and issue timely Purchase Orders and Task Orders. Coordinate closely with Legal, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance and execution. Maintain internal reports on sourcing status, supplier risk, availability, and cost. Travel 10-15% of the time for supplier site visits, business reviews, and program alignment

 

Skills:

Should have more than or equal to 10-15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with a mix of construction sourcing and direct materials procurement for industrial or automotive sector. Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or CPM) is advantageous. Strong understanding of both infrastructure development and manufacturing environments. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP Coupa or equivalent). Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and execution.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Construction Management, Engineering (Electromechanical, Industrial or similar) or a related discipline. A masterís degree or MBA is preferred.
