Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors. The successful candidate will monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance, manage subcontractor daily production reports, assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager, and conduct safety audits. Additionally, the role involves ensuring contractor quality control and safety at construction locations, assisting subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules, and ensuring contractors complete work on schedule while addressing warranty issues. Responsibilities + Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors + Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance + Manage subcontractor daily production reports + Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager + Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations + Assist subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules + Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while addressing warranty issues + Communicate daily status of current projects to Project Manager to ensure all projects are timely and within the company standards + Maintain 100% safety standards and accountability in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements + Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe + Report and address all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly + Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements + Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process + Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications + Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems is eliminated or minimized + Conduct pre-final inspections, establish a punch list if required, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected + Submit as-builts on finished projects Essential Skills + Commercial construction experience + Construction supervision + Construction management + General contractor experience + Subcontractor management + Quality control + Site construction Additional Skills & Qualifications + 8+ years of new construction Superintendent experience + Experience in commercial construction Work Environment The work environment includes overseeing construction sites, ensuring safety standards are met, and collaborating closely with subcontractors and the Project Manager. The role demands hands-on supervision and the ability to address issues promptly to maintain smooth project progression. Dress code and attire will typically be construction site appropriate, including safety gear as required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $52.88/hr.
