**About the job**
At CAST (Common Architecture Shared Technology) within Vehicle Engineering, we are looking for a Group Manager for Advanced Engineering to join our dynamic Management Team and play a crucial role in the future of our transport ecosystem. Help us design sustainable transportation solutions for the future. As part of the Volvo Group Technology organization, you will engineer the next generation of platform and vehicle concepts towards zero emissions. **What you will do**
As Group Manager for Advanced Engineering, you will lead a team in Greensboro, NC, USA, contributing to various activities within Group Trucks Technology (GTT) and across Business Areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Advanced Engineering & Vehicle Concepts: Leading and fostering collaboration in developing concepts that support global solutions, exploring innovative transport solutions.
• Governance: Prepare and coordinate Advanced Engineering & Platform Architecture Committees, ensuring consistency across stakeholder committees.
• Portfolio Management: Support the maintenance of an updated view of our Vehicle & Technology AE Portfolio for current and future transport scenarios.
• You will also manage synchronization of vehicle and technology roadmaps, identify improvement areas, lead cross-functional investigations, partake in the AE Vehicle Concepts Governance, and oversee the Vehicle and Technology AE Portfolio.

**Requirements**
+ Master's Degree in engineering or a related field.
+ 10+ years of related work experience.
+ Strong knowledge of the Advance engineering process, both internal and external.
