Overview The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center is a premier property featuring 248 guest rooms and over 25,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. We are seeking a Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and strategic hospitality professional with a passion for group sales and delivering exceptional client experiences. What You’ll Do: Leverage business intelligence tools to identify trends and develop revenue-generating strategies Manage group room blocks and meeting/function space to ensure optimal utilization and profitability Cultivate strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and personalized service Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Catering to pursue new opportunities and manage key accounts Support day-to-day sales activities while ensuring seamless communication between departments Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on group business Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and drive new business development Proficiency in business intelligence reporting and data analysis Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales software (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, or similar) Why Join Us?
