Crowne Plaza Melbourne is ideally located on the Yarra River, only steps away from the restaurants and bars of the South Wharf precinct, CBD shopping, and South Melbourne with its popular cafés and markets. **What's the job** As a Guest Service Agent, you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, room guests, assist with inquiries, and deliver exceptional service in line with the Crowne Plaza Melbourne brand and policies. **Your day to day** + Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and handling complaints or concerns, ensuring a positive and lasting impression of the hotel. + Perform check-ins, check-outs, and room changes accurately while maintaining detailed guest records and following all standard operating procedures, including handling cashier floats and daily financial reports. + Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel policies, promotions, and reservation procedures, while upholding IHG standards of behavior, appearance, and cleanliness in the front desk area. **What we need from you** + Look smart – wear your uniform with pride + Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. + Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities. + Good Communication and writing skills + Communicating with the other departments to make all guests stays better **What you can expect from us:** We give our people everything they need to succeed.
