**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** Operate one or several types of heavy construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties. The work schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with 12-hour shifts from 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, rollers, and front-end loaders. + Excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. + Repair and maintain equipment as needed. + Communicate effectively with team members to convey information. + Perform physical activities requiring the use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. + Adhere to safety procedures and practices at all times. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, rollers, and front-end loaders. + Posses a valid driver's license + Ability to communicate effectively with others. + Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions. + Capability to perform physically demanding activities. + Strong attention to detail. + Knowledge of safety procedures and practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma strongly preferred. **Why Work Here?** This position offers opportunities for overtime and the chance to work on the largest tunnel project.
