Description

Primarily electrical and mechanical experience. At a high level the controls lab has test systems that supports calibration, V+V, sw testing efforts. Power supply set up, complex hardware in the loop test system. Real time environment, the scope for the lab supports infrastructure. Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, tools equipment, making harnesses, integrating, custom parts.

1.\tSomeone with electrical(basic electrical,, wire harness understanding)

2.\tSomeone with test system development experience- creating a test system. Validation engineers run tests, this person needs to be able to develop/maintain the test system is running with tools, software/licenses, and hardware connections. NI hardware, make racks, procure parts, internal wiring, etc. Somone who has done panel creation.

3.\tTroubleshooting experience within electrical/electronic systems/test systems/data acquisition system preferably NI based and open to someone familiar with Vector, ETAS, DSpace, or similar based test system etc.

This person will be responsible for:

•\tApplication software validation being executed by test engineers on test system/bench. Primarily tests the complete functioning of test system and verify it is working: electrical/electronic troubleshooting, software troubleshooting, CAN connections and communication, etc. engine control ecm flashing. For engine control module.

•\tTechnician will not be running any tests, supporting test infrastructure. Making sure things are running smoothly. Many teams use the resource.

•\tVerify the setup is fine, troubleshoot the problem.

•\tSomoene who has good understanding of how a test system works.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
