Grocery Home Shopping Department Manager – Safeway.com 

Safeway.com is currently accepting applications for Grocery Home Shopping Department Manager.  The Department Manager will plan and organization to ensure customer orders are completed/delivered on time, give/receive information regarding customer orders and  demonstrates excellent motivation and team working skills.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manages in-store Home Shopping department on a day-to-day basis. Ensures a high standard of customer service, responsible for staff schedules, training and reviews within the department. Tracks the department budgets and Key Performance Indicators. Maintain all systems effectively, including the Product Locator System and communicate with IT support. Resolves customer service issues, questions and complaints to a satisfactory conclusion for all customers. Communicates with Retail Support Specialist as necessary to ensure department standards, goals and expectations are met. Communicates with Regional Logistics Manager regarding driver issues (i.e. scheduling/customer service).

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

It is preferable for the Department Manager to be competent in PC skills. Demonstrates the ability to train teams of people. Demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills Knowledge of Safeway is highly desirable
