Hotel Parking Cashiers bring the Magic of Disney to our Resort Hotels. Cast Members provide exceptional service to Guests, greeting them as they arrive to the Hotel and providing detailed parking information. Parking Cashiers will handle cash and take payment for parking, provide directions to parking areas, and resolve any concerns independently. Responsibilities: Provide over the top Guest Service to all GuestsGreet Guests warmly as they arrive via vehicle to our Resort Hotels, providing detailed directions for self-parking, valet, and drop-offCollect payment for parking via Point-of-Sale systems and OPERA property management lodging systemsHandle cash, credit card, room charge, and multiple payment methodsResolve concerns independently and thoughtfully, providing appropriate recovery based on the situationProvide a lasting final impression to Guests as they depart the hotelCommunicate with team members via two-way radioBe able to work efficiently without sacrificing Guest ServiceWork independently outdoors for up to 8 hours in all weather environments including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.Have strong flexibility with scheduling for late night, early morning, and mid-day shifts, both weekdays and weekends Basic Qualifications: You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role2+ years work experience in a high-volume, upscale customer service environment1+ years of recent cash handling experienceStrong knowledge of technology and comfortable utilizing multiple computer systemsFamiliarity with Disneyland® Resort and Disneyland® Resort HotelsWilling to take initiative to actively greet and welcome GuestsDemonstrate excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilitiesAbility to work solo/ independently for up to 8 hours at a timeSense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing qualityAbility to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environmentInitiative to own and resolve Guest situations Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a parking/front desk/bell services environment at a large hotel 1+ years in a 4/5 Star Hotel or ResortKnowledge of Forbes standardsValid California Driver's License Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 4:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
