An affordable and inviting option among Santa Rosa, California hotels, Sandman is located just off US-101, mere minutes from the area’s best wineries and breweries, dining, outdoor activities and downtown businesses. Channeling a tropical-meets-Californian-bohemian flare, the Pool House & Bar offers refreshing cocktails with an al fresco ambiance. Sandman’s year-round heated pool and hot tub encourage lingering afternoons in the sunshine. Our spacious Backyard is complete with adirondack chairs, fire tables, a bocce court, and cornhole. Overview The House Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the hotel’s public spaces and assisting the housekeeping team in delivering a high standard of guest satisfaction. This position supports room attendants by stocking supplies, removing linen, and ensuring guest areas are clean and inviting at all times. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, restrooms, and pool areas. Assist Room Attendants by delivering and retrieving linen, towels, and guest supplies. Empty trash throughout guest areas and hotel. Restock housekeeping closets and carts with necessary supplies and amenities. Respond promptly to guest and team requests with professionalism and a sense of urgency. Report any maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department. Ensure proper handling and care of hotel equipment and cleaning supplies. Support deep-cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations, resort policies, and departmental procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
