Description Our client is in need of an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing personnel records, supporting faculty documentation, and maintaining compliance processes within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update personnel files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. • Utilize document imaging systems to scan, upload, and organize records efficiently. • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure proper documentation and compliance standards are met. • Process and review electronic documents, ensuring they align with organizational policies. • Support onboarding processes and assist in maintaining employee records. • Conduct regular audits of HR files to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Provide guidance on employee relations issues while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. • Assist in preparing business review documents and other HR-related reports. • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies across HR functions. • Facilitate communication between departments to streamline HR processes and improve workflow. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Familiarity with document imaging systems and electronic file management. • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and employee relations. • Experience working with faculty records or in educational institutions is preferred. • Knowledge of HR systems such as Banner or Ceridian is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage confidential information. • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
