As an HR Generalist at IME, you’ll be an integral part of our collaborative HR team—driving day-to-day people operations, launching meaningful programs, and fostering a vibrant, positive workplace culture. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities: Onboarding & Performance Management: Ensure new hires have a smooth and welcoming start. Book travel, plan onboarding activities, and coordinate pre-employment testing with team members. Communicate the onboarding schedule with orientation presenters, ensuring all presentations are up-to-date and engaging. Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to coordinate schedules, benefits set up, and training. Manages the performance management system and supports supervisors and employees in driving performance, development, and accountability across the organization. HR Programs & Policy Development: Collaborate with Human Resources team to create and implement best-in-class HR programs, practices, and policies across all departments. Assist in the communication and upkeep of employee handbook and contributes to the review and development of policies. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Talent Outreach Coordination: Coordinate participation in high school and college career fairs, including event registration, booth setup, marketing materials, and staffing. Organize community outreach events to support workforce development and strengthen the company’s local presence. Collaborate with internal teams to align event messaging with hiring needs and employer branding. Track and report on event outcomes, including candidate engagement, resume collection, and follow-up actions. Employee Experience & Culture: Support the development and implementation of culture initiatives including diversity, equity, and inclusion. Assist supervisors and team members to create a positive working culture. Provide effective and dedicated advocacy for team member development, organizational change, and other employee-relations matters. Process Improvement & Innovation : Suggest process improvements to continually improve employee experience, the efficiency of the HR department, and the organization. Continuously seek to make improvements in tools, workflows, and policies through reference to external market trends, insights, and internal best practices. Research, Data & Compliance: Gather and present data for project needs. Conduct market assessments, analyze data, and prepare reports. Research HR-related topics and report findings. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Additional duties as assigned. Education & Experience: + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience + 3+ years of experience in Human Resources role, preferred. What You'll Get Working Conditions : The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment. Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.  You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day. Benefits Overview: IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package.  Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire.  In addition, employees are offered a substantial amount of PTO and are immediately eligible to make contributions to a generously matched and fully vested 401k.    Salary Range: $63,750 - $86,250  *Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.* Established in 1946, IME is part of Quanta Services, the largest specialty contractor in North America.
