Overview
The HR/Payroll Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, onboarding, and HRIS data management.
What you will need
+ A high school diploma or GED is required.
+ 1 year of experience in an office working environment
+ Basic accounting skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Advanced verbal and written English language skills.
+ Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
How you will make an impact
+ Maintain data integrity in the HRIS.
+ Facilitate new hires through the onboarding process and ensure new hire paperwork is completed and processed.
+ Assist with new hire orientation.
+ Prepare and update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
+ Process all personnel action forms and ensure proper approval.
+ Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
+ Support employees and managers in using HR systems and following HR processes.
+ Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as required.
+ Coordinate with HRIS vendors to resolve problems and accomplish tasks.
+ Process payroll for employees, including garnishments, commissions/bonuses, and issuing pay cards as needed.
+ Process wage garnishments for child support and other creditors.
+ Other duties assigned.
