WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Live Nation Canada is looking for a people-focused HR Business Partner to join us in Vancouver and support our team in Western Canada. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a best-in-class employee experience by providing hands-on HR support across a wide range of functions—from onboarding and performance management to culture-building and compliance. You will work closely with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver the best employee experience possible.
+ Manage onboarding and offboarding for all employees in the West, providing an excellent employee experience.
+ Support the planning and execution of local culture-building initiatives and events, including collaboration with the office’s social committee and participation in engagement programs.
+ Act as primary point of HR contact to all managers and employees in the Vancouver office and owned and operated venues in the West in the areas of employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development.
+ Responsible for the application of all corporate policies and guidelines, to ensure fair and consistent application while addressing local needs and challenges.
+ Coordinate training and development initiatives.
+ Lead the performance management process in the West by supporting employees and managers.
+ Remain current with industry standards, legislative changes, and Human Resource best practices, ensuring Live Nation Canada remains compliant with British Columbia Labour Laws.
+ Supports the talent acquisition team on recruitment efforts, from time to time.
+ Support the payroll process with various administrative tasks; reports, approval of payroll register, etc.
+ Oversee general HR administrative tasks in the West.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
+ 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
+ Excellent in leading and implementing change
+ Ability to thrive in an innovative environment with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
+ A reputation for being excellent at building and nurturing trusting relationships with key stakeholders and employees.
+ Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage internally and externally at all levels
+ Highly organized with strong time and task management skills
+ Experience and knowledge of Workday preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Stationary position for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; movement throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; ability to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; move up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.

$80,000 - $100,000 CAD **
