The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment of, management of, and providing direction to the people who work in the organization through effective policies, procedures, guidelines, and support. Human Resources Management is the organizational function overseeing compensation, hiring, performance management, organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training.                     

The position is responsible for supporting the human resources team and Generalists in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: LOA administration, facilitate and support the payroll process, employment, compliance, basic employee relations, wage and salary administration, training, and various HR-related programs.

This is a full-time on-site hourly position, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift

The Role:  

Support payroll as primary liaison with Finance Operations and third-party Shared Service organization; Interface with internal and external auditors in relation to payroll functionsPerform data entry (e.g., shift structures, new hires, PTO allotments, etc.), generate data reports, and troubleshoot the time-keeping system (Kronos), conducting periodic auditsProcess new hire paperwork and terminations, including exit interviews; Prepare and maintain personnel files on siteAssist employees with routine payroll and benefit questions; Respond to routine employee relations-type questions and issuesEnsure new hires are onboarded with respect to HR systems and paperwork up to and including New Hire Orientation (NHO); Coordinate and lead portions of NHOAdministration and counsel related to all site LOA’s (i.e., LTD/STD, jury duty, FMLA, funeral/military leave, parental leave, etc.) and releases to return to work. Maintain files and coordinate employee updates to ensure fair and consistent application of policy and legal compliance. Perform all follow up.Ongoing reporting and monitoring of employee work restrictions/accommodationsPartner with and drive talent acquisition recruiters and hiring managers throughout the non-exempt hiring process, including the development of offer recommendation and associated reportingOther duties as assigned

The Candidate:  

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is desired1+ years human resources experience (particularly benefits, leave administration and compliance) is required Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office
