Job Title: HVAC Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the design, planning, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction or existing buildings within the commercial and industrial industries.

ResponsibilitiesOversee and supervise HVAC projects from start to finishManage and coordinate HVAC technicians and subcontractorsEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetReview project plans, specifications, and blueprintsCollaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are metConduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of workHandle IOMs and other associated close-out documentsProvide technical guidance and support to HVAC team membersMaintain accurate project documentation and recordsImplement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulationsEssential Skills2-5 years of project management experience within the commercial and/or industrial spaceProficiency in blueprint reading to interpret HVAC system designs and specificationsExperience working with contracts, including reviewing, negotiating, and managing contract termsExcellent project management skills to plan, organize, and execute HVAC projectsAbility to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality standards are metProficient in project scheduling to create timelines and allocate resources accordinglyFamiliarity with MS Office including spreadsheets, emails, and word processingFamiliarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid, ProCore, Civil 3D, and BluebeamStrong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAdditional Skills & QualificationsSomeone who is humble, hungry, and smartAn individual who wants to find a home where they can grow in their careerTroubleshooting skillsClient relationship managementExperience with construction software systemsWork Environment

Business casual attire. No jeans. Work hours are from 7am-5/6pm, Monday to Friday. No travel required. The role involves spending 70% of the time in the new office and 30% out at job sites meeting owners, architects, and building relationships with subcontractors. All business is conducted in Southeast Michigan. Once direct, the employee will receive a company vehicle, fuel card, and additional company benefits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.27/hr.
