Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will translate system and software requirements into software designs that comply with architectural constraints and open architecture requirements. You will implement robust, high-quality C++ software suitable for mission-critical, real-time systems with high reliability and availability requirements. Additionally, you will develop test frameworks to verify the correct implementation and performance of C++ software, utilize and help iteratively improve DevSecOps development practices, and participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, software implementations, and test plans. Your role will also involve documenting software designs and interfaces, developing analysis tools, and performing root cause analysis of software defects to implement corrections.

ResponsibilitiesTranslate system and software requirements into compliant software designs.Implement high-quality C++ software for mission-critical systems.Develop test frameworks for software verification and performance assessment.Utilize and improve DevSecOps development practices.Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, software implementations, and test plans.Document software designs and interfaces.Develop analysis tools.Perform root cause analysis of software defects and implement corrections.Essential SkillsProficiency in C++ programming.Experience with DevSecOps practices.Knowledge of system integration and software engineering techniques.Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD tools.Ability to work with automation, GPU, RDMA, MATLAB, and radar technologies.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field with 5+ years of related experience.Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.Expertise in modern C++ techniques including multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization.Experience integrating with larger software systems, including unit and system-level testing.Familiarity with signal processing or mathematical modeling.Experience with GPU software development and RDMA.Understanding of radar concepts and integrated systems.Experience in developing and optimizing MATLAB algorithms into C++ code.Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.Knowledge of automation frameworks and domain expertise in areas like electronic warfare and sensor resource management.Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid schedule in an office setting, providing flexibility and a conducive environment for productivity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
