Ice Cream Attendant at CONES by CUT Restaurant (Seasonal Position)
Overview: You will be representing Rosewood Washington D.C. and CUT Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck. You will be in charge of the Ice Cream Cart located outside the front of the Hotel and responsible for all duties required to maintain the ice cream cart, stock, sales and knowledge of menu.
Responsibilities: • Setup and breakdown of ice cream cart and ice cream supplies before and at the end of every shift • Knowledge of CUT Ice Cream ingredients and flavors being offered • Greet and conversate with all guests with a friendly, hospitable and engaging attitude • Scoop ice cream with accuracy and consistency - following food service and food safety guidelines • Daily cleaning of ice cream cart and counter area • Takes Inventory of ice cream, cones, napkins, cups, spoons, taster spoons and all other supplies and report information to Chef team • Responsible for accuracy charging and collecting credit/debit card payments for all ice cream sales- No Cash Sales • Ability to handle challenging customers in a professional manner • Able to handle high volume sales accurately and timely • All other duties as assigned by the culinary team The list of responsibilities is illustrative only and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by this position. Qualifications: • Must be able to work in outdoor environments and handle exposure to variations in weather and conditions • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds • Must be able to walk, reach, push and pull and lift on a regular basis up to 35 pounds • Must be able to stand for long periods at a time without rest • Must be able to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm • Proficient in reading, math, and credit card handling
Hourly payrate - $17.50/ hour
