The ICE (Independent Cost Evaluation) organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Staff analyst to join our team. In this role you will be called upon to apply experience in multiple financial disciplines to independently evaluate risks and opportunities for various program(s) and proposals in support of the executive decision-making process.

Specific responsibilities include: Program Execution/Backlog Program Analysis: Evaluate technical, cost and schedule risks and historical trends to provide quarterly nominal and conservative positions for on-going program(s). Partner with program F&BO, Program Management, Engineering and Operations personnel to measure program performance in relation to historical performance. Present quarterly program ICE position to Lockheed Martin Space ICE Director, Corporate ICE Director and to Lockheed Martin Space Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) Senior Leadership. Meet with program and/or Line of Business (LOB) management on a quarterly basis to reconcile estimates and coordinate positions with Line of Business (LOB) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Proposal Analysis: As needed, prepare ICE analysis based on historical data. Evaluate offer baseline, scope of work, schedule, supplier proposals and prime contract in order to identify best comparable history for nominal and conservative basis. Throughout the pursuit, identify risks & opportunities to pursuit teams. Reconcile estimate and support all levels of EPP reviews.


ICE Database: Support the enhancement of the ICE database by collecting and analyzing historical data for responsible programs. Identify indicators and innovate new techniques in collecting and analyzing data. Support the ICE team to standardize ICE Metric Collections and improve our reconciliation process with the programs.

Must be able to obtain an active Top Secret/ SCI Clearance. US citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment under minimal supervision
- Strong in financial modeling or investigative data analysis or data-mining
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills through experience in multiple functions in finance (Contracts or FP&A or Estimating or Program Finance or Schedule/Planning, or ICE or any other related areas)
- Current Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Basic technical understanding of Lockheed Martin Space product portfolio
- Experience in program FP&A and Estimating
- Experience/training in systems engineering, industrial engineering or data science
- Experience/training in contract management
- Experience with principles of statistics/regression analysis
- Experience with SAP, SADE/ADR, Horizon/Hyperion, Tableau, ProPricer
- Ability to work out of LM Space campuses (Sunnyvale, Denver)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/ SCI clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
