This role will be 3rd Shift, 10P-6A (M-F).
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all facets of maintenance repair, but most specifically those related to controls systems troubleshooting, PLC programming, documentation and software backups. Establish control loop calibration routes and ensure that the equipment controls are maintained within the design and set point parameters necessary to function properly. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment with special regard to major and minor electrical/electronic system failures throughout the facility.Develop and/or update changes to technical schematics and documentation, including formal technical training, hands-on training and written procedures (i.e. work instructions, SOPs and lessons guides).Offer technical expertise and guidance to other team members, including operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel.Take initiative and provide leadership in situations requiring advanced electrical/electronic knowledge or when issues arise outside the typical scope of maintenance work.Participate in special projects/functions including; formal and hands on technical training for operations and maintenance personnel, emergency and scheduled maintenance coverage, and the development of special written procedures/programs.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree in a related discipline is preferred. 6+ years verifiable work experience in the electronics and instrumentation field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Knowledge and understanding of Proportional-Integral-Differential (PID) control loops, AC/DC drives, and assessment techniques for examining, questioning, and evaluating PLC program logic.Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, or related experience preferred.Regard safety as a core value; must serve as a role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures.Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Sheets/Docs, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function-specific software.Able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.#electronics #instrumentation #maintenance #electrical #calibration #PLC
