**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Information Analyst supports Master Data Service initiatives in the cleansing of client vendor and item files. This includes mapping client files to HealthTrust master data and the research, validation, and creation of new item and vendor records to be added to the HealthTrust Item and Vendor Master Databases. The Information Analyst is also responsible for coordinating work across departments to ensure projects are completed within timelines and clearly communicating the cleansed results to internal stakeholders and external clients.
**What you will do in this role includes:**
Perform Item and Vendor cleansing services by mapping, creating, and reporting on item and vendor files as they are assigned. Works in conjunction with Master Data Services team and/or internal teams and external clients on the scope and prioritization of projects. Provides data analysis and/or data cleansing for multiple business groups both internal and external.
+ Supports Master Data Services team and their clients
+ Work in internal tools to map, create, and maintain item and vendor records, provide enriched attributes, identify discontinued items and potential duplicates in client files, and report/communicate the results to internal and external stakeholders
+ Responsible for validating item and vendor information included in client files before mastering
+ Defines and uses data queries for research and analysis to continually drive value for client.
+ Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and maintaining quality of communications and data provided to client. Focus on quality of deliverables to client includes implementing new quality assurance practices as appropriate.
+ Manage multiple projects at once while meeting project timelines and providing accurate results
+ Collaborates with other HealthTrust departments to analyze and complete ad-hoc data projects and requests.
+ Helps to determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
+ Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
+ Provides references for internal and external users by helping to maintain user documentation; providing help and support to client based on needs expressed; finds opportunities to assist in customer data proactively.
+ Maintain standardized file naming conventions and organized file folder structure for document retention. Presents summary report for client every quarter, identifying areas of improvement.
+ Supports project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems and follow up on status/next steps appropriately. Leads discussions and follows up on action items as needed across teams.
+ Interacts extensively with external and internal customers/departments/companies.
+ Provides data analysis integral to creating the comprehensive business intelligence that will inform business practices, problem solving, and decision-making.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Must have experience in data querying and reporting
+ Must have experience in data management in healthcare industry
+ Experience collaborating in a team environment
+ Experience providing high level of customer support
+ Knowledge of data management concepts and best practices, with ability to develop a deep understanding of HealthTrust and client data
+ Proficient in Excel with the ability to learn new tools quickly
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
