Information Manager (ISO 19650)

Role description:

Arcadis is hiring an Information Manager to oversee the management and coordination of project information in accordance with ISO 19650 standards and/or project standards, which guide Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows.

In this role, you will lead the effective exchange of information across teams and stakeholders, ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements, and promote collaboration to support project success.

As an Information Manager, you will play a pivotal role in implementing structured and reliable Information Management practices—essential for delivering high-quality projects efficiently and effectively.

 

Role responsibilities:

Implement and oversee Information Management processes in line with ISO 19650 and project standards. Ensure compliance with the Common Data Environment (CDE) requirements and maintain structured, secure information sharing. Establish and manage protocols for information exchange, workflows, and access control across project teams. Develop, manage, and support the Project Information Requirements (PIR), Exchange Information Requirements (EIR), and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP). Facilitate timely information delivery at key milestones and verify outputs against agreed standards. Monitor, audit, and validate data in the CDE to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow and alignment with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP/BXP). Promote collaboration, provide training on ISO 19650 standards, and mentor team members on best practices. Generate reports, analyze workflows, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Liaise with senior management to provide updates on Information Management activities.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

7-10 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination, Information Management, or related roles within the AEC industry Experience with large-scale projects with complex Information Management requirements. Strong understanding of BIM concepts, processes, and industry standards, including in-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 principles and their application. Proficiency in Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms (e.g., ACC, SharePoint, Aconex). Familiarity with modeling software such as Autodesk Revit or similar tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to data integrity and attention to detail. Certifications in BIM or ISO 19650 frameworks/workflows are highly desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize information across multiple stakeholders and teams.

  The salary range for this position is CAD$78,000 - CAD$117,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.   #LI-CW10
