As an Innovation Intern, will be part of the Fluke Innovation team which is responsible for front-end innovation and user testing at Fluke. Your summer project will be to  automate the display and analysis of key innovation-related data including KPIs, funnel size and health, innovation performance metrics, project resourcing, and innovation timelines. This dashboard and interface will help coordinate and accelerate global early-stage innovation at Fluke. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of ideation and innovation execution at a technology company, working on a real-world project that will have a direct impact on innovation performance at Fluke. You will receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities 

Conduct VOC (Voice of Customer) research with internal stakeholders, including Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Innovation Catalysts, and others to understand their needs, JTBD, and Dream automation requirements. 

Design the user interface (UI) and prototype the system for implementation. 

Validate the prototyped system with lead users and deploy the solution. 

Qualifications 

Currently pursuing a degree in HCDE, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, graduating December 2025 or later 

Experience and skills in UI design and prototyping.. 

Creative, inspired, and inspiring individual. 

Strong interest in front-end/early innovation processes. 

Ability to work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders. 

Excellent communication and research skills. 

Preferred Skills 

Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. 

Previous experience in developing dashboards or similar projects.

Pay Range
The hourly range for this position (in local currency) is $20-$40/ hour.
